Google Wave nominations!

(To be clear, not invites. Unfortunately. But this is supposed to get you an invite faster.)

EDIT: The one guy I nominated so far got an invite in 10 minutes. I can't promise it's quite this fast for you, but it does seem to have the potential to be.

It's actually a really cool communications...thingy. The big problem with it is that there's no clear way to use it yet, and it's very feature incomplete. It's really cool, though.

It's beta-testing a new google app. It's only "l33t" so far as not a true public beta at this time, they're ramping up users as they expand their backbone.

It's kind of an archived chat that kind of has threaded messages and has support for documents/is itself a document. It's an odd duck.

Gatty and I both have a shitload of invites now, and the Shinobi RP test on Wave went really well, so I highly recommend getting Wave, it's a pretty decent thing for RP, and it should be getting better as things go along.

So, since using Wave for RP has gone so well, I've made a Google Group for us to use in Wave: http://groups.google.com/group/head-on-a-stick

You can add it to your contacts at head-on-a-stick@googlegroups.com in Wave, or you can just go on over to the new wave I created and invited everyone that's on Wave here to, and add the group like any other normal contact. This way, when we have a RP that we want to make available or visible to the whole board, you can just add the Group to the wave, and everyone will be able to see it (and since they just added a Read-Only option to added members on a wave, you can set it so the Group itself can't edit the wave). To see all the waves for the Group, just click on the Group contact in your contacts list, and then click on Group Waves, and it'll do a search to find all the waves out there with our Group added to them.

HoaS has been plagued with registration bots, so you pretty much need an act of Congress to get registered. Failing that, you can PM me and I will try to use my admin powers for good and get your address added to the kosher list.

Sorry, was out of town for the weekend. Got the invite, thanks! The e-mail address isn't a big deal to me; like I said I check the one that's currently listed I just wasn't sure if the nomination had to go to a gmail address.
